Sam Mark was born in 1979 by Persian parents and raised in Sweden, Gothenburg. After graduating from a well known dental school in Gothenburg, Sam practiced dentistry in Sweden and in 2005 set up his own private dental practice. In 2006 he moved to London, Canary Wharf, where he worked as an associate dentist in a very large and busy dental clinic. In 2007 he moved to Spain, where he initially worked in a dental practice in Nerja. In 2009, Sam and his brother Soheil opened their first dental clinic in Fuengirola under the name of Mark Dental Clinic, which has now been rebranded to AAURA Dental.

Sam has extensive experience in restorative and aesthetic dentistry and has treated hundreds of patients here on the Costa del Sol. His postgraduate training includes implant dentistry, bone augmentation procedures and prosthetic rehabilitation.

His approach to dentistry is very much patient-centric focused, never cutting corners to ensure patients receive the best service and treatments. His expertise lies in general dentistry, with specialization in implant surgery and aesthetic dentistry. To date he has fitted over 3,000 implants and is highly recommended and recognised in the dental industry.

Sam speaks English, Spanish, Swedish and Farsi.
